Hot on the heels of Caring With Carers’ 3rd Birthday, we are also a 2019 North Shore Local Business Awards Finalist. What an honour!

Whilst I was busy at my desk writing emails, my phone rang with a number I did not recognise. I wondered if I should answer it as I was in the middle of a report. Well, I am very pleased I did!

It was a lovely lady from the North Shore Local Business Awards notifying me that we have become a finalist in the professional services category for the second year running. I quickly saved the document I had open and had a big smile on my face.

This is a wonderful recognition of the great work we do finding children in need a secure and safe place to live within our community .

Recently, we held an information evening at North Sydney Leagues Club. This was to spread the awareness to the community that we need to find more foster carers. We had a fabulous turn out and are meeting with the attendees individually to discuss the next steps for them to become foster carers.

Thank you to everyone who voted for us and we are very much looking forward to the awards night. It will be a great time to celebrate with many other finalists in the North Sydney area and see their achievements and milestones.
